Dine by candlelight or in front of a roaring log fire in
the winter or al fresco in summer on the beautiful
veranda!
The
restaurant is open for dinner on weekdays and for lunch
and dinner by arrangement at weekends. Die Kliphuis also
caters for corporate functions and conferences, as well
as private special occasions.
The main dining room can seat 50 guests in an
air-conditioned environment and is also used for
conferences and seminars. It is fully equipped with a
television set, DVD player, flip charts, white boards,
projector and wide screen.
The private dining room can seat 20 guests and has an
impressive bay window, high pressed-metal ceilings as
well as an original tiled fireplace which creates warmth
and atmosphere on a cold Highveld evening.
For smaller functions, we have a magnificent Oregon pine
table which can accommodate 10 people - situated in a
third, separate dining room.
Dinners may also be served outside on the covered
veranda and champagne breakfasts are extra special when
served in the garden in the shade of a sprawling oak
tree.
A set menu is served but guests are
encouraged to discuss their catering preferences to
ensure that their special occasion is exactly to their
